Overview

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT.

Have you ever wanted to have more of a 'voice' at work - and in your life? Does the thought of public speaking send you into a cold sweat? If you are looking for practical tips and inspiration on ways to command an audience, whether that's in a meeting or on social media, then this is the event for you.

Viv Groskop, author of 'How to Own the Room', will talk to FT feature writer Emma Jacobs about her work, from a career in  journalism to becoming a stand up comedian, author and executive performance coach. Along the way she has learned a lot - and overturned the stereotypes about women and public performance. Now she teaches others how to perform better - and this interactive event will include drinks, practical exercises and takeaways, and the chance to ask Viv about your own performance dilemmas.

Viv's books will be available for purchase on the night.
