Overview

In the midst of a crisis, balancing short term imperatives with long term strategic goals can be challenging. But unprecedented times present businesses with a unique opportunity to reassess their fundamental value drivers, reimagine how to best capitalise on those drivers and bend the fixed cost curve in a way that can lead to a stronger more competitive business. How can organisations navigate the transition from crisis to recovery? What can be learnt from the differing response from business across the globe? What steps can Private Equity firms take to help their portfolio companies take to mitigate the economic impact of the pandemic and to emerge stronger?

The Financial Times, together with Alvarez & Marsal, are pleased to partner on the latest FT Digital Dialogue-From Crisis to Recovery: Planning for success in a new normal. The discussion will leverage global expertise to address the pressing challenges facing Private Equity Firms and their portfolio companies as they strategise their recovery.
